Installation is the last step, and it’s the one you live with. A well-fabricated countertop still needs to be carried in safely, set perfectly level, supported where it overhangs, seamed so the joints disappear and sealed so the stone stays protected. INSTALLATION DAY
What Happens When We Install
We begin by protecting floors and nearby surfaces, then remove the existing countertop if it’s still in place and disconnect the plumbing. The cabinets are checked for level and shimmed where needed, and support brackets are installed for islands, bars and any overhang that needs them.
The new pieces are carried in and dry-fitted before anything is fixed. Once the fit is confirmed, they are set on a bed of adhesive, seams are joined with color-matched material and leveled flush, and the undermount sink is secured beneath its cutout. Faucet holes are drilled on site if they weren’t cut in fabrication. Finally, natural stone is sealed, everything is cleaned, and we walk through the finished surface with you.

How long does installation take?
Most kitchens in Los Angeles and nearby communities are installed in a single day. Larger kitchens, waterfall islands or multiple rooms may take two days. We confirm the schedule before we arrive.
Do you remove my old countertops?
Yes. Removal and disposal of the existing countertop are part of the installation, and we protect the cabinets and floors while we work.
Will you reconnect the plumbing?
We can reconnect the sink, faucet and disposal after the adhesive has cured, usually the next day. Let us know when you book and we’ll include it.
When can I use the countertops?
You can use the surface lightly right away. We recommend waiting until the next day before placing heavy items near seams or reconnecting the sink.
