Is my roof suitable for solar?
Most roofs are. What matters is the roof’s condition, the available area, its orientation and shading. We assess all of these during the consultation and tell you honestly what to expect.
Do I need to replace my roof first?
Only if the roof is near the end of its life. Panels last a long time, so it makes sense to install them on a roof that will last as long. If work is needed, we can do both as one project.
Will my electrical panel need an upgrade?
Sometimes. Older or smaller panels may not have the capacity for a solar connection. We check the panel during the assessment and include an upgrade in the plan if it’s required.
How long does installation take?
The installation itself usually takes a few days. Design, permitting and utility approval add time before and after, and we keep you updated at every stage of your Los Angeles installation.
Can I add a battery later?
Yes. We can design the system with a hybrid inverter and wiring that makes adding a battery straightforward when you’re ready.
