A NEW LOOK FROM ABOVE
Ceiling Remodeling in
Los Angeles, CA
The ceiling is the fifth wall of every room, and it is the one most homes forget. A new ceiling changes how a room feels: higher, warmer, calmer or more dramatic.
ARD Remodeling designs and builds ceilings for homes in Los Angeles and Surrounding Areas: smooth and stretch ceilings, stepped tray and coffered designs, wood beams and slat panels. We also repair damaged ceilings, paint them, and plan the lighting together with the design.
One team handles the layout, framing, drywall, finishes and electrical, so the result looks like it was always part of your home.

CEILING STYLES
The Right Style for Every Room
Each style does something different for a room. A stepped tray adds depth to a living room, a coffered ceiling gives a dining room a classic feel, wood beams warm up an open kitchen, and a smooth or stretch ceiling keeps a small room bright and simple.
We help you choose by looking at the room’s height, the light it gets, the furniture and the way you use it, then plan the framing, drywall and finishes for homes across Los Angeles County.

OUR CEILINGS
Six Ways to Change Your Ceiling

REPAIR & PREPARATION
Repair First, Then Redesign
A beautiful ceiling starts with a sound one. Before any new design goes up, we check what is above it: cracks, stains from old leaks, sagging drywall, uneven surfaces and old texture.
We repair and level the surface, fix the cause of any moisture problem with you, and only then paint or build the new ceiling, so the finish stays smooth for years.
- Crack, stain and drywall repairA flat, sound base for the new finish.
- Texture and popcorn removalA smooth, modern surface.
- Leveling and new drywallStraight lines across the whole room.
- Priming and paintingEven coverage in the color you choose.

- Many styles
- Lighting planned
- Clean finish
How long does a ceiling remodel take?
A repair and repaint can take a few days. A tray, coffered or beam ceiling usually takes longer because of framing, drywall and finishing. We give you a clear timeline at the visit, based on the room.
Can you change the ceiling height?
A raised or stepped design can add the feeling of height, and a lowered section can hide wiring or ducts. We check the structure and the room first and tell you what is possible.
Can you add lighting when you change the ceiling?
Yes. It is best to plan lighting together with the ceiling: recessed spots, LED cove, linear lights or a pendant. Our team handles the electrical work as part of the project in Los Angeles and Surrounding Areas.
Do you repair water stains and cracks?
Yes. We repair the damaged area and make sure the cause, such as a leak, is dealt with before we paint or build a new finish.
Can I see the ceiling before we start?
You can try different styles, colors and lighting on a photo of your own room with the ceiling visualizer on this page. It is a schematic preview, and we confirm every detail at the visit.
