How do I choose a hardwood color?

Start with the light in the room, your cabinets and walls and how much wear the floor will see. Lighter tones make a room feel larger and brighter, darker ones feel warmer and more formal. You can also upload a photo of your room on this page.

Will the color look the same in my home as on screen?

Not exactly. Screens differ and wood changes with light. We recommend checking a real sample in your own room before you decide, and we confirm availability and the next steps when you request a shade.

Does a darker floor show more dust and scratches?

Often yes, especially in strong light, while very light and mid-tone floors hide wear better. A matte finish also hides marks better than a glossy one.

Can I request a shade and have it installed by ARD Remodeling?

Yes. Choose the shade you like and send your request, and we confirm availability, answer your questions and plan the installation.

Do you install over my existing floor?

It depends on the existing surface and the product. We check the floor at the visit and tell you whether it can stay or should be removed first.
